LouvreSol worked hard at early design stage to secure the Brise Soleil for the above project. The architect's priority was to make sure the Brise Soleil performs to its best capabilities. To illustrate to the architect exactly what level of sun the Brise Soleil would shade, we created a comprehensive sun path analysis, in the form of an animated programme.
Two potential designs of the Brise Soleil were chosen, with two elevations needing protection from the sun. We managed to show how different designs and blades affected the level of solar shading so that the architect could make an informed decision.
Following the architect's review of our sun path analysis, he chose our SolLine Lunar 300 blade. Our system will then be installed to supporting steel work by others.
