Kieron Sweeney completes his Site Supervisors Safety

 Training Scheme (SSSTS) with flying colours.

The SSSTS course has enabled Kieron to develop his knowledge of construction sites and management, whilst being more aware of the social and legal responsibilities the job role covers. Kieron now fully understands the importance of risk assessments and how it is vital they are completed properly to increase the safety levels on site and reduce the risk of accidents.

The SSSTS is a highly respected qualification in the construction industry and will pave the way for further promotion within LouvreSol Specialist Projects.

Kieron is now in the last stages of gaining his Level 2 NVQ Qualification in Team leading. The team leader NVQ will give Kieron the opportunity to develop the core competencies needed by team leaders in todays dynamic business world.

Apprentice Success

Ian Green has successfully served his full apprenticeship programme at 

LouvreSol Specialist Projects LTD as Welder Fabricator 

and has now been awarded Junior Supervisor 

for the Welding Bay.

Ian has completed his apprenticeship with Knowsley Community College and LouvreSol over the last three years. Ian has continually developed his skills and adapted to new techniques, which have enabled him to become a very capable member of the team. 

We would all like to congratulate Ian on his success and we look forward to his future with LouvreSol Specialist Projects LTD.

LouvreSol Knock off Early to Support England

On Monday LouvreSol closed down an hour early to rush off and watch the eagerly awaited England v France match.

We had some very nervous members of staff, keen for England to have a successful start to the competition........others more interested in the bar!

The evening ended with a good result for England and a few sore heads for LouvreSol!

LouvreSol are pleased to announce that we have secured the Solar Shading and Louvres at The Three Bridges Signal Control Centre for Network Rail

LouvreSol are to design, manufacture and install the Solar Shading and Plant Room louvres for the Three Bridges Control Centre in Crawley.

We will be using our SolLine 300mm Stellar system which uses bespoke perforated aluminium finns, complete with a walkway and ladders to provide access for maintenance and cleaning.

We will be utilising our LouvreLine 75zee Louvre system, which have been carefully designed to fit within the sloping roof of the plant rooms and screens.

Solar Shading is a great way to add interest to a building whilst also having a impact on the efficiency of the property.

The Solar Shading will decrease the amount of glare to enter the office space, giving a better working environment for staff. 

Our Brise Soleil will be carefully designed to minimised the amount of direct sunlight penetrating areas of the building, therefore reducing the need for air-conditioning.
